Watch what you eat and apply to your skin!

Watch what you eat and apply to your skin! No Garlic, no perfume or cologne. There is nothing worse than having a conversation with someone whose odor is overwhelming. The impression left should have nothing to do with your last meal or the fragrance applied at the cosmetic counter. Media is interested in your essence not your scent-ence.

Have you ever walked into a department store and felt like you were being assaulted by all the fragrance coming form the cosmetic department? Let the runny nose, selling eyes and sneezing begin!
This is sort of how producers and casting agents feel during an audition. Making a first impression is almost 100% visual however our sense of smell is very keen and if we overwhelm the producer with all kinds of fragrance , I can assure you they will not feel positive about your pitch session. Wearing no perfume is a huge asset. Cleanliness is next to Godliness but please don’t add anything else! The same goes for food fragrance…although garlic, onions and many aromatic herbs and spices may be good for you, they are not good on you! Steer clear of anything that may linger on your palette. I suggest brushing your teeth and flossing before any audition. Carry mints, gum..but please do not chew it during your meeting.
